When the summer heat hits it is important that you be in an air conditioned home. While most homes in Georgia have an air conditioner not all of them are designed well. The next time you build a new home, or if you are replacing the air conditioning system in your home. Be sure to take the time to hire a solid company who has done many Georgia cooling systems and understands how to design them right. Too many time they are under-designed and do not have sufficient power to do the job for the space.
Why Home Budgets Impact Your Air Conditioning Negatively Everyone wants to get the most for their money and as a result, all try to stretch the dollar as far as it will go. However, that often ends up in poorly designed homes. One area that can suffer when a budget is tight is in the AC. Customers sometimes push companies to give them something that will not work. While the customer does not understand it that way, the reality is it happens all the time. When the AC company "ho’s and hum’s" and says, “It is close, but I am not sure if it is a large enough system for the house”, that should tell a customer to choose a little larger system. However, many customers, trying to squeeze all they can out of the dollar, will go with the system that was questionable. That may save money initially, but it will not make the home comfortable in the middle of the summer.
Go with Overkill in Your AC System When you are designing a new home, or a remodel of your existing home, be sure to opt for a bit of overkill on the AC System. Georgia cooling systems are important in the heat and humidity. It is better to have more than enough air conditioning power than not enough. You never know when you may add onto the home down the road. If the system is already more than enough, you will not have to redo the system just because you are adding on a room or two.
