This is a Super late post!

I finally got my lappy skinned! Love it!

Got it customized from Gelaskin . I have been looking for a skin for my netbook not just to decorate it but to protect it as well from scratches and good thing I was able to stumble on their website. They got lot of cool designs to choose from (honestly, I did had a hard time on choosing!). Aside from that, they provide skins for almost all types of gadgets. Even if your gadget is not on their list, they got a section wherein you can easily customized it according to your own requirements. Just like what I did! I got my skin in less than a week! Their product is made of quality materials (3M) and it is easy to install. I am really a happy customer! If I will be changing skin in the future, I will surely get it from GelaSkins again!

Oh and by the way, this is not a paid post!

Hi everyone! How was your weekend?

I am late for today since just like most of you, we got a long weekend! It's Memorial Day! :) Saturday was pretty laid back, I got a class in the morning and just stayed at home in the afternoon. I just discovered one healthy snack that day, it was made in Wheat, Corn, Oats, Brown Rice and Barley.

For me the taste is better than Nova. It is yummy and healthy!
(I will get back to you all for the price, forgot to take note of it.)

Then Sunday, we did take advantage of our long weekend and since as per our weather advisers, rainy season had officially started, we got our last shot for this summer this weekend! My family together with a few of my colleagues went to Casa Ibiza in Antipolo City.

We had so much fun!!!

Then this Monday, before we go home, we went straight to Festival Mall from Casa Ibiza to watch Kung Fu Panda.

We love it! It was twice the awesomeness!

So...here we go!

1. This week I was a bit down after finding out the results of something that I have been aiming for.
2. I really missed watching Clark Kent, I just wish that Smallville returns.
3. It's all about the money money money (come sing with me LOL).
4. I don't like spending too much time in the sun.
5. I demand always for an explanation, especially when there's something I could not understand.
6. Follow the Lord's path, it's filled with the true meaning of happiness.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to same busy night at work, tomorrow my plans include attending the second day of my class at AGSB and Sunday, I want to have fun with my family and friends at Casa Ibiza where we will spend a night!

Thanks for swerving! We don't need you or any of your kind. Though the government has always been pursuing each communities to be prepare on natural calamities like you, our country will never be prepared and will never be spared of the damages since we have not been so kind to our Mother Earth :( Thanks for reminding us, but please be gentle okay? And good riddance!

To My Little Tot,

Mom wants to apologize for giving in to your request and letting you swim during the night time last Saturday. Because of that, you got sick! :( What added to my guilt-feeling was when you, of all people, told me this: "Next time Mom, let's just swim in the morning, Okay?" I guess we both learned it the hard way!

Is this where our taxes is going? As far as I know, there's a part of our huge deductions for withholding taxes that go to DPWH (Department of Public Works and Highways) but how come there's a few roads on our place that you can drive 50-60kmph because most of the roads, you need to slow down. Otherwise, your car won't last for years. I just hope and pray that you will pay attention to this problem instead of giving our money to some corrupt politicians.

We made it again! Our photo was shown last May 12 - 14 on Edsa Boni and SM North Edsa's Digital Billboards. It was for Nido Fortified's Say It Big Mother's Day Celebration where you can greet moms out there through the digital cards that will be shown on digital billboards along Edsa Boni and on SM North Edsa. It was another 3-day of fame! Happiness! Here are the copy of the billboard courtesy by Nido since I was not able to see these personally because the locations were too far from where I live.

Movie Review: Insidious

I didn't know about this movie til I saw a teaser of it from YouTube a few months ago. I have wanted to watch it since then but I keep on forgetting to get a copy of it. Til I saw this on one of my friends' status in Facebook, he mentioned how he got scared while watching this movie. So I immediately looked for a copy of this one so I can watch it right away. Here's a brief synopsis of this movie from IMDb:

A family looks to prevent evil spirits from trapping their comatose child in a realm called The Further.

I am not Pro when it comes to watching scary movies but I am frequent watcher of horror movies so before I watch this flick, I already have high hopes. Indeed, it didn't disappoint me. It did scare every bit of me, even my hubby got scared too. This flick doesn't have bloody scenes like those of SAW movies since the maker of this is also the same one who made SAW movies. The minimalistic approach works for it. It was almost like watching movies shown in black and white. Just like those of the Japanese horror movies, it was made to scare you with all of those disturbing images and scenes. The actors were great! I definitely recommend this to those who loves horror flicks!

I still have a few more movies to review which made me think, should I create another blog dedicated for movie reviews? What do you think? Then maybe, I will have to consider webhosting too. But sadly, I know this will not going to happen yet. I don't have the luxury of time right now create a new blog. Maybe some other time!

This has been one of the stores I grew up with, especially during my schooling days. It has always been the store we rush into when we need school supplies. And now, since I am an official stude again, most likely, I will frequent this store again not to mention, my little tot is also entering preschool this year.

Hi everyone! How was your weekend?

Ours was a little packed! Saturday, I stayed awake for more than 24 hours since I need to finished reading a chapter plus one case study. Though I was not able to finished it that day, but it was pretty productive since I was able to finish more than 75% percent of what I need to do. That day we also watched Insidious and we all love it! (I will be posting a review on that in a separate post, I know I got a lot of movies in queue for review). Then later that afternoon, we gave in to our little tot's request to go swimming in The Bellevue (photos from this fun event will be to follow). Before we go home that day, we brought her this toy from McDonald's Happy Meal. Yeah, we have another set to complete!

Then Sunday, we just chilled at home then we have attended one of my childhood friends' bridal and stag party! We really had super fun! (Photos from the party will be to follow) Plus it was really nice seeing some old friends we have not seen for years!

This is her new pair of Ipanema slippers given to her by her godmother, my friend who threw the bridal party for last night! I want one too!

Then this morning was our little tot's last class for Summer. They will have a mini recognition party on Wednesday. I am super proud of my little tot for finishing half of the one-month summer class after her not-so-good experience from the first school she had attended.
