Mellow Yellow Monday #78, Blue Monday #69 and Pixelbug Weekend #65 (365/57-59)

Howdy?! How was your weekend everyone?! 

This weekend was just one of our not-so-packed nor not-so-laid-back weekends! Saturday was my little tot's appointment toher Pediatrician for a follow up check after she was admitted to the hospital a few weeks ago due to UTI! Thanks God that her lungs are clear because she's coughing a bit recently and her eyes are all fine now, it was just an irritation. So after our trip to her Pedia, we drove straight to Festival Mall to buy our little one her new fish. Remember her Dorothy, her red to blue fighting fish? It died last 3 days ago for some unknown reason. But I read from here that Betta fighting fishes have a short lifespan. So that might explains why! We will definitely miss our Dorothy :( 

Anyway, meet our little one's new pets! Yes, with an S! Because she had requested for six Golden Mollies!

Sorry, it looks like the other two are camera shy! LOL!


Then Sunday, was just a lazy day! I ran that morning and just chill til the afternoon before we attended the mass. But I basically slept in between those activities since I got to work that night. And it was an Art time for my little tot!

And today, the weather is perfect! Not so hot and the coldness is just perfect for some cuddling! And here's what I am doing right now aside from bonding with my little one and hubby (we're home alone!)

Friday Fill-ins #68, Letters of Intent #46 and Friday Follow #42 (365/56)

So...here we go!
1. Ooooh, I want that Chips Ahoy! Chocolate Chip Cookies made with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

2. Whiners please, I can't stand it!

3. How the heck did I end up with so many errands to do, when what I have in mind were just a few. (thanks to my hubby for having so many request. He should be thankful it's near his birthday!)

4. Tagaytay is one of my favorite places to visit.

5. I'm not a Justin Bieber fan, I'm not!

6. One of the factors that made me go back to a place is their service, it has to be good.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to just the usual busy Friday night at work, tomorrow my plans include nothing much, just bringing our little tot to her pedia for a check-up at Asian Hospital and Sunday, I want to just chill at home since I will be working at night! 

To My Little One's Right Eye,

Please heal real soon! We don't want any irritations and inflammations right now! You will definitely see your doctor tomorrow! I still prefer this happy face!

Shoot Me! 24 of 52, Project 52 #6 and 365/55

I got a lot of photos to share from our last Tagaytay weekend getaway! And here are some of those:

And for today's photo, I got my new pair of Geo Contact Lens! This has been my fourth pair, I have been getting one from a trusted seller in Multiply, but since she's can not be reached these days. I have opt to try out another seller that sell authentic lenses, the Aigoo Shoppe! I was eying for a different seller before but good thing I have searched further and found out that they are not recognized by the group of Geo Sellers in Multiply and that online shop was even mentioned by the Geo Police site that that shop is among those who sell fake lenses. Scary! After checking that Aigoo is listed as one of the trusted sellers, I have contacted them and she immediately responded. The transaction went really smooth! The seller was nice enough to answer all my questions and she even gave me some recommendations since I was undecided that time what color to have next. After 2 days, I got my package already! Her kit lens is really cute!

I got Nudy Golden Blue (CH932) this time for PHP650 ($15)!

By the way, I purchased this using my blogging earnings! :)

Wordless Wednesday #223 and Sepia Scene #75 (365/54)

Havs not to Have Anymore?

We just bought this pair of Havaianas for my little tot last December (thanks to BDJ coupon) and we chose to get a pair bigger than her size thinking she could use it for a long time. And to think she just wears this one if we are going out and only if she wanted too. Sigh! It looks like Havaianas' quality is not that reliable anymore. Though the old pairs that I got are still in good condition. Btw, this is not the first pair that didn't last as expected, Hubby's pair of Havs lasted for just 3 months too! Tsk Tsk!

Ruby Tuesday #68 (365/53*): Sapin Sapin by Dolor's Kakanin

Here's my latest food craze, Sapin Sapin by Dolor's Kakanin! This was introduced to me by my sister-in-law and I am glad she did! I love their Sapin-Sapin. As per Wikipedia:

Sapin-sapin is a layered glutinous rice and coconut dessert in Filipino cuisine. It is made from rice flour, coconut milk, sugar, water, and coloring with coconut flakes sprinkled on top.

(Sorry if a small part of it was missing! My little tot grabbed a portion of it before I was able to take a photo! LOL!)

It comes in different sizes, and I think we bought the Large one at PHP220.00. This consists of the following:

• Sapin Sapin (outer layer)
• Ube (one in violet)
• Biko (one in brown)
• Cassava (one on dirty white)
• Kutsina-like Sapin Sapin (one in red)
• Maja (one in yellow)

I love every bit of it. The sweetness of it is not too much and I love how finely it was made. This is definitely a must-try dessert!
