Friday Fill-ins #60 and Letters of Intent #38 (365/365)

So...here we go! Actually these were from last Friday Fill-in's but since it looks like I might not be able to check the latest, so I have decided to do the last one instead so as not to miss it :)

1. These are a few things that I want next year, railing planter box holder for my mother in-law and a battery operated pool surface skimmer for a friend of mine since they have been wanting these stuffs for quite some time now.
2. Me and my sister will be the one preparing our holiday dinner.
3. What's that I hear about an awesome dump carts for sale? Anyone have seen it because I so wanted to visit and check that out.
4. I am hoping for a different New Year, I hope it will be quiet, quiet.
5. Some of my favorite holiday memories include lots of homemade good food and lots of memorable get together.
6. I saw a hole in our wall but it looks like no one can pass through it, not even a mouse.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to busy but fun New Year's day eve, tomorrow my plans include visiting our granny and some of my relatives in Cainta and Sunday, I want to have some fun with family and friends at Star City!

Nostalgia #18

 

A day from now we will be welcoming a new year but I can't help not to remember our last year celebration. It was totally different from the usual celebration that we've had since we've greeted the new year inside the hospital.

Though it was a different celebration, I could say that it was not that traumatic at all, even for our little one. Initially when we brought her to the hospital because of bad colds and high fever, she was so afraid seeing anyone in medical uniforms coming in and out of the Emergency Room. But eventually, she was able to understand that they won't do any harm to her. Good thing all those who have attended to her was very kind and polite. She learned to be friends with them. Besides, nowadays the nurse uniforms and supplies come in different styles and vibrant colors that would make it less scary for children. That makes me wonder if there's any nursing uniform store out there because honestly, I have not seen one inside the mall. 

Anyways, I am so glad that we are back in to the traditional way of celebrating New Year, the way we always loved, celebrating it with our loved-ones with lots of good food!

Mellow Yellow Monday #69, Blue Monday #60 and Pixelbug Weekend #56 (365/359-361)

Merry Christmas to all!

How was your celebration? Hope you all have so much fun!

Here's our Christmas happenings, the eve was definitely for our little one. At first, since she slept around 10PM, she didn't like to stand up when I was waking her up. But upon hearing that she will be opening gifts, she immediately stood up and excitingly headed to where our Christmas tree is since she knows that that where we're putting all the gifts.

Looks how busy and focused she was opening her gifts!

* I wasn't able to take photo of the food we ate that Christmas eve since I was busy waking her up.

Every Christmas and New Year holidays, I see to it that we'll be wearing if not the exact same color, but with the same shade. So this time, we're on Blue! :)
* Can you also spot the yellow star pillow at my back?

Then Sunday, after hearing the mass, she got a date with her dentist. I was so proud of her because she was a good girl all throughout the procedures.

Great job little girl!
* This was taken at the entrance of Festival SuperMall on our way to her dentist.

Then after her dental appointment, we headed to SM Mall of Asia to meet my college buds. It was our much-awaited get-together after years. I was not able to use my camera as I was busy chit-chatting with them. I missed them all! This was also our first family affair get-together! Our little one got some candy treats from one of my best buds in college, which up til now, she couldn't stop eating!

Such a sweet tooth!

Friday Fill-ins #59 and Letters of Intent #37 (365/358)

So...here we go!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to our Noche Buena, gift-giving and lots of food to choose from, tomorrow my plans include nothing much, maybe we'll just go to the mall after attending the mass in the morning and Sunday, I want to have a nice bonding time with my college friends together with our families after my little one's dental appointment.
