I know most of you know about UNESCO right? And as far as I know, it is a legit organization that helps in building peace in the minds of people through education, the sciences, culture, communication and information as stated on their website (www.unesco.org). So when I got an email from stating that it is from UNESCO, I took some time to read it. But to my surprise, here's what I got:

Sounds fishy right? I am quite aware of some of the
scam emails circulating in the internet but I am still surprised how they were able to use such a legit organization for their own benefit! Tsk Tsk!
Let us try to check the validity of the email. At first glance, you might probably think that this is legit since from the FROM field it shows:
From: info@unesco.org
And that's a valid domain, which is in fact being in used by the UNESCO organization (www.unesco.org). But when I try to hit reply just to check, instead of having that email in my TO field, it was replaced by
this: unesco@admin.in.th. A totally different domain, and when you do some search on that, it is just one of the organizations that provide e-mail addresses for free. Tsk Tsk! Now you will be sending your reply to a totally different email address! So before sending any of your vital information, please be very sure that it is legit.
